Overview

Shorkot Cantonment Board (SCB) is an autonomous body working under Military Lands and Cantonment Department, Ministry of Defence, Government of Pakistan. With ever increasing population of the Cantonment. Major area of Shorkot Cantonment comprises of a Katchi Abadi. Owing to the createion of the Rafiqui Air Base in 1966, the Cantonment Board Shorkot stepped in to the shoes of the old "Town Committee" in 1967 vide Gazette Notification No. 805 / 67 dated 31-03-1967.

  • Another historic step taken by Cantonment Boards of Pakistan to facilitate the residents of all cantonments. In line with the Government of Pakistan’s e-Governance Policy, an agreement has been signed between 1Link and the Cantonment Boards of Pakistan that will now enable cantonment residents to pay their taxes and fees online. Cantonment residents can avail this facility by entering challan number mentioned on the challan in 1Bill option from any bank's mobile app, ATM or online portal. On this occasion, Now cantonment residents would be able to pay their bills from the comfort of their homes and avoid the hassle of visiting bank branches.
